Raised in a military family, I've had the great fortune to experience life in many different parts of the world and across the US. Through photos, I began capturing the beauty of my surroundings from a young age.
As an adult, I decided to follow in my father's footsteps and enlist in the military. As a member of the United States Coast Guard, I was again allowed opportunities to see even more of the world. During this time, I met the love of my life, who would eventually become my husband.
After ending my Coast Guard career, I began to rediscover my passion for photography; and I was able to pursue my dream of becoming a professional photographer.
While stationed there as a family, I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, continuing my studies after transfer at the New England School of Photography in Boston. Majoring in portraiture and minoring in creative imaging allowed me to explore a vast range of photographic techniques and styles in various settings and learn from award-winning professionals in their field.
